About us

Short links with clear ownership

A smart link platform for teams that want compact /r/ paths, clean redirects, and click insight — without promotional chrome on the hop.

What is no-referer?

no-referer helps you create short links that open a public https destination through a quiet no-referrer redirect. Optional aliases keep paths readable; QR downloads (PNG/SVG) point at the same /r/ code; signed-in My URLs keeps destinations, paths, and click tallies together.

Guests can shorten free. Accounts unlock history and editing. Paid plans raise volume and can attach a host you already own via Contact Sales — we do not sell domain registration.

Our customers

From startups to global brands, teams use no-referer to manage short links and keep every share on-brand.

Our values

What we believe shapes how we build the create and redirect flow.

Visible for creators

You always see the https destination when you create or edit a link. Short paths are a convenience layer — not a way to obscure targets from the people who share them.

Quiet for recipients

Opens use a clean no-referrer hop with no marketing interstitial. Recipients land on your page without carrying referrer context from this site onto the next one.

Honest product surface

Guests can shorten free. Accounts unlock My URLs, editing, and tallies. Custom domains are attached to hosts you already own via Contact Sales — we do not sell domain registration.

A short history

Operating since 2022 — same short-link job, clearer product surface over time.

  1. 2022

    Soft launch

Homepage shortening and /r/{code} redirects went live for creators who needed compact https shares.

  2. 2023

    Product shape

Optional aliases, signed-in My URLs, and click tallies settled the day-to-day workflow.

  3. 2024

    Scale & clarity

Plan tiers, Help articles, and cleaner public docs made expectations easier to read before you upgrade.

  4. 2025–2026

    Steady operations

Focus stays on reliability, abuse response, and the create–share–manage loop — not a pile of neighboring features.
