Privacy basics for link creators
What we store to run the service and how to reach us about data.
We store what we need to operate short links: the destination URL, short code (or alias), optional user id for signed-in links, and click tallies for account history.
Account records include the email and credentials required to sign in. Session cookies support authentication on My URLs and related signed-in pages.
Redirects and cookies
Short-link redirects are designed to avoid setting session cookies on the redirect itself. The goal is a quiet pass-through to your destination under a no-referrer policy.
We do not invent secondary tracking products on the redirect path. Keep destinations honest and https-only so recipients know what they are opening.
