Getting started with no-referer
Create your first clean short link from the homepage in under a minute.
no-referer is a short-link utility: paste a full https destination on the homepage, and we return a compact link you can share in chat, email, or social posts.
The homepage shortener works over AJAX. You stay on the page, see the new short URL immediately, and can copy it without a full reload.
Create your first link
- Open the homepage and paste a public https destination.
- Optionally add an alias if you want a path you can say aloud.
- Submit the form and copy the /r/{code} result that appears in place.
- Open the short link in a private window and confirm the destination loads as expected.
Before you share
Creators always see the full target URL when they create or manage a link. Guests can shorten without an account. If you sign in first, new links attach to your workspace and show up under My URLs with click counts.
We only accept https destinations. If creation fails, check that the URL is complete, publicly reachable, and uses https—not a local file, raw IP, or plain http address.
