Help Getting started

HTTPS destinations only

Why we require secure public destinations—and what gets rejected.

Every destination must use https. That rule protects people who click your short link and keeps the redirect surface predictable for modern browsers.

Plain http URLs, non-web schemes, and raw IP addresses are rejected. Incomplete or malformed URLs fail validation before a short code is issued.

Only public https destinations become a short /r/ link.

Self-links and loops

Destinations on no-referer.com itself are blocked so short links cannot loop back onto this site. Point to the real external page you want people to open.

If a create attempt fails, read the error message, fix the URL, and try again. Most failures are a missing https:// prefix or a private/internal host.

Secure destinations are the baseline for every plan—Free, Pro, Bulk, and Enterprise—not a paid upgrade.
